I have been playing trombone for more than forty years. After learning on the job in the Brass Band fraternity, I joined the NZ military, where I played for the NZ Army Band, the Royal NZ Navy Band and the Royal NZ Airforce Band. I also played for two years with the Singapore Symphony Orchestra and as a Casual for a number of years with the Auckland Philharmonia Orchestra. For approximately ten years I also taught Brass and conducted at a number of schools in the Auckland area.
